Michael Falken serves as the Chief Investment Officer and a founding partner at Tidan Capital, steering the firm's diverse investment strategies and leading a seasoned team of experts. His expertise in credit and distressed investing is deeply influenced by industry vanguards like Randy Smith, famed for establishing Alden Global Capital and for his role in developing distressed investing techniques.

 

Prior to Tidan, Michael distinguished himself as a senior portfolio manager at Carve Capital within the Brummer & Partners platform. His profound industry insights were sharpened at Amaranth Advisors as Head of Research. Michael’s financial acumen took root at Natwest Markets, subsequent to earning his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1995.

Aram Hussein oversees trading and financing at

Tidan Capital, a crucial component of the firm’s investment process. His tenure at Tidan  is marked by a strong focus on trading operations, enriched by his extensive experience in capital markets and portfolio financing.

 

Aram's proficiency was cultivated at Brummer & Partners, where he spearheaded core trading projects. His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Corporate and Financial Management from Lund University, solidifying his theoretical and practical understanding of the financial industry.

William Wilson, a Portfolio Manager and Partner at Tidan Capital, brings a wealth of experience in capital markets, with a  specialized focus on credit strategies. At the core of his approach is a meticulous analysis that drives the firm’s relentless focus on capturing value across various market conditions.

 

Before his tenure at Tidan, William was a key figure at Brummer & Partners, where he applied his expertise as a Senior Credit Analyst. His career also includes a pivotal role at Goldman Sachs International where he deepened his understanding of credit risk and strategic investments. William's financial journey commenced at the University of Nottingham, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Management and Finance.
